​Employment Opportunity— Fabricator / Factory Labourer

Full time — Monday to Friday — 38 Hours
North East Glass is a well established business that began in 1989 and is Australian owned. The products manufactured include a large range of Bradnam windows and doors, semi framed shower screens, mirror and wardrobe doors.

Key Responsibilities
· Make aluminium windows & doors to specifications
· Cutting, machining, punching, assembling and glazing of aluminium windows & doors.
· Read, interpret & understand technical manuals, cutting lists and instructions.
· Loading and unloading of delivery and despatch trucks.
Key Attributes, Skills and Experience
· Positive attitude & quick learner
· Good level of fitness and strength, some lifting required
· Ability to read and interpret drawings & understand technical manuals, cutting lists and instructions.
· Basic literacy and mathematic skills
· Attention to detail & pride in workmanship
· Competent with using basic hand and powered tools
· Ability to work unsupervised as part of a small team
· A commitment to quality, safety policies, procedures and work instructions
· Reliable and punctual
· A current driver’s licence, forklift licence, truck licence (MR) and White Card are desirable.
​
Previous experience in similar industry preferred however we will train the right person. Remuneration will be dependent on the successful applicant’s experience.
